They didn't have to be concerned about Price's injury because they were never going to select him. He has one of the worst contracts in the NHL.

I agree. But according to the insiders they seriously considered it. Definitely didn’t immediately write it off as a no, if those reports are to be believed.

Happy with Pitlick. Don't get me wrong: this was a player I really liked. And I certainly wish him the best. But I was more afraid they would take Bush, honestly.

Pitlick was a cheap UFA, easy comes, easy goes.

I just hate Fischer so much. Lol.

I must admit I was snickering a bit when I read all the mocks with him in it.

Well, if he pulls off a William Karlsson or something next year, I'll be happy with them not having picked him then.

The projected roster so far doesn't meet the cap minimum. There are going to be some trades for sure. With Larsson and Driedger they likely just clear it. Tons of space.

Looks like Seattle is trying to extract max draft value instead of max immediate roster value.

You guys need to calm down on the Domi bashing. Nobody expected him to be claimed. He has a torn labrum and will miss most of next season. He was exposed because he was not going to be claimed due to injury. Chill out with the waivers talk and the I told ya so’s. He had a major injury. End of story.
You mean labrain injury?

They need centers bad. How about Schmaltz for Dunn? Then we can do OEL to Nashville for RyJo. That would at least appease poor Filip Forsberg who’s melting down a bit. lol.

It's going to be real easy to root for Seattle with that roster. I like most of their selections a lot. 1/3 of those selections I have been advocating for the Coyotes to trade for.

He's making peanuts and only signed for another year. Still no guarantee he's even here next season. If we bring in a couple tough guys, he's ok for a PK, 4th line roll. He used to be able to score before Tocc too.
It’s true. Fischer isn’t bad. He’s just frustrating. And it’s very possible Tourigny gets more out of him. I just REALLY want us to add some legit toughness this off-season so I don’t have to melt down when Fischer tucks his tail between his legs and runs off yelping.

They have a clear identity. And it looks like what BA talks about. Hopefully BAs actions start to match his words and we start to look more like that than the soft baby turds Chayka assembled.

OEL & Kessel @50%?
It wouldn't be a bad haul for Seattle, I wonder what we could get?

Pitlick & Dunn and maybe even a 2nd rounder...
