Get ready for super defensive Flyers fans up our ***** if Provorov looks as good/better than Hanifin in a year. Just like Sanheim/Fleury.

Started reading about Hanifin last summer and never thought in a million years the Canes would have a chance to pick him. I will now sacrifice my Jussi Jokinen bobble head to the hockey gods.

Not surprise. Faulk, Lindholm, Hanifin and Fleury. That's foundation. You still have Jordan and Skinner. Some good depth in the D. And i still have hope for Murphy. At worst, he could be #4/5 tweener. He's not that bad.

With Hanifin, Provorov and Werenski gone, the Bruins fans are melting down after trading Hamilton.

I'm very excited too. Our future defense is looking as bright as it's ever been in my memory. However I can recall most of us being similarly excited a few years back about Bowman, Boychuk, Dalpe, etc. so I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much still ;)
