I have harnessed the new NHL API.
I think I have.

The main culprit is the split of the boxscore and the pbp information into two files. I can publish the code, but it's Perl.

I'll take a peek at the AHL out of curiosity.

In the page of the game that you suggested, launch Inspector. Then choose Network tab, then choose JS (not XHR!) sub-tab.

There (likely at the bottom) there are some inconspicuous index.php invocations . They return angular calls from which pure JSON may be extracted.

I am not sure it's obfuscated on purpose. I think it's caused by the fact the AHL website runs on WordPress...

I tried searching and can't find it anywhere. Through the API (or an API, or somewhere on the internet) is there any remnants of TOI or shift charts available pre-2005?

EDIT: I can't even get anything before 2013 in Postman at this point, I'm not getting the proper game_ids - I'm not the most experienced at this though. I'm much better as a product owner than I am as a backend dev haha

I have shifts from 2007. It's the same url as other HTML reports, just the file name is TV/TH as opposed to PL for play-by-play.

TOI is available through Event Summary (ES) HTML reports, e.g.

NHL On-line ReportViewer

They start in 1999 (insert 19992000 in the URL) and include PP/SH/EV breakdown since 2002.
