I would be interested to read the criteria for these selections. I think with goalies, especially in 2005, goalies being on the right team at the right time clouds the rankings. Price has had a much better individual career than Rask, and has carried a much worse team to some playoff success. Rask is very talented, and a big part of the Bruins' success, but if the roles were reversed and Price was on BOS with Rask on MTL, I think Price would be considered the better of the two by a wide margin.
One major issue I have with re-drafts is that I think a lot of hockey writers make the mistake of underrating players whose prime is over. So they'd evaluate a guy like Lucic much worse because he is not good now relative to his peak. While there is value to a player having longevity, I think these lists did a good job of not underrating players just because they are out of their prime.
In general, I think these lists put too much emphasis on team success, when a lot of that is right place/right time. Put Huberdeau on Chicago instead of Saad, where will he be on his list?

That's tough. Players only, probably Montreal. Two #1 defenseman and a goal scorer vs. 3 wingers.
Pick wise, Boston. 1st rounder, 2nd rounder and 3rd rounder vs 2 firsts and a second.
To be clear, I mean defenders, not defenseman. He's top 5 at shutting down offense.
