NHL: Around the League 53

I thought no trades can be made after the TDL..but noticed TB just made a deal for sone guy from Carolina o exchange for a 6th round pick .

So you can still trade for a guy as long as he is not onthe NHL team's axtivexroster?
I think the guy was either playing in the Carolina farm system or was a draftee Carolina did not want to sign..So is it true Teams allowed to trade after TDL as long as the target was not rostered on the NHL club ?

Guys can still be traded after deadline, but they are ineligible for playoffs

That is why you usually see those type of trades happen

Florida is a complete disaster right now. They just blew a lead against the Habs, and Jones was a solid minus two. But he played 27 minutes so he must be good right?

This guy is a toxic presence everywhere he goes. The Panthers have looked like absolute shit since he got there. Even if Knight doesn’t work out here, they got completely bent over in the trade.

Flashpoint thought Jones was second best D-man for Florida after Mikkola in last game against Montreal.

I didn't think he was responsible for either goal against at the end of last night's game.

He did get beat really badly by Nick Suzuki, who only had one hand on his stick, with about 4 minutes left on a tricky pick up and deke, but Newhook botched the resulting 2-on-1 that should've tied the game. Wish I could find that clip because it was really an exhibition of how good Suzuki is
