He responded to Subban's shitty opinion with his own opinion. That's how speech works. People are allowed to voice their opinions. And then people are allowed to voice their opinions about those opinions. I never understand this perspective. If you voice an opinion publicly, prepare to have it criticized.

It was Aliu's reaction to the tweet that I have an issue with. You can respectfully disagree. Aliu didn't. He got very personal. It's almost as if Subban tweeted about him and called him out. But he didn't. He was talking about someone else and Aliu had a meltdown over someone else's opinion.

Person A. Toews is a top 5 C of his generation.

Person B. I've followed you for a long time. I've respected you too. But you are dead wrong in what you are saying and you are not helping the game in any way. How could you side with such a bad player? I can name 10 centers who are better than Toews in the 2010s. You are actually disgusting for thinking this. You are on the wrong side of history and your reputation and your hockey opinion is now pathetic. You are the perfect example of why hockey is dead last in this country. You are a disgrace.

Might be felons in prison. Something like that. I do my best to stay out of political stuff. Where I grew up you were not allowed to ask who voted for who lest you like to taste the back of their hand lol! And that way everyone got along.

This, like so many things in America, varies by state. In a couple they can vote even while incarcerated, in a bunch they lose the right to vote permanently, and in most they either lose the right to vote only while incarcerated, or while incarcerated + some time afterward (generally while on parole or probation).
