Shesterkin is $$$ in the playoffs. Rangers won’t go anywhere without him and guys like Zibanejad, Panarin, and Trouba won’t help you when the games get tight. I’m changing my tune on this one, sign Shesterkin to an 8 year $12m deal and build around him. He’s clearly their best player along with Fox. Get rid of Trouba and try and trade Panarin as well.

They’re probably not winning a Cup regardless but the NYR don’t have game breaking forwards who can take over a playoff series, despite the gaudy regular season stats from Artemi.
