Lol I almost freaked out too when it happened to me. I think the packs screen only shows 15 at a time and then for some reason you have to refresh HUT to see the rest. Pretty dumb.

Yeah, that’s what happened to me. I have no patience for EA man, I tell ya. I’ve bought packs in the past and never had them appear in the screen. I’ve bought players off the market for upwards of 50k only to have them be nowhere to be found...until a week later it’s in my inbox.
I still pay $100 for it every August, though, and at least as much through the year.

I know I asked before but that was before people had to the game. Can someone do me a favor and try to add a euro team into the Be A GM mode and see it it's possible to swap out Euro teams for NHL teams. I enjoy swapping them all out and playing it as a 25 year Euro GM mode, and about the only reason I would buy this years addition. Thanks if anyone can let me know.
Thanks very much. At the very least this will give me a head start on creating all the NCAA and KHL prospects in the game.
I also tested it out on jerseys and it works as well. I took an old September custom roster from the beginning of last year where Nashville’s addias jersey was missing and merged it with the latest online rosters and sure enough Nashville’s away was available in play now along with all my created players and teams.Now why EA has it’s jerseys tied to rosters I still don’t understand, but that’s another story for another day lol

The penalties in this game are f***ing horrible. Every game I’ve played so far it has been a minimum of 6 penalties for each team...

so in a bronze reward pack, i somehow packed 85 Kucherov?? the odds right? I have 4 hours left on my trial and my main account (game is bought on standard) trial expired. Do i need to place him for trade on Friday? and simply send dummy cards from my main account for him and accept him?

So, after playing this for a few hours last night, my take is...
1. The game is very similar to 18. All the talk and reviews stating this is "by far the best NHL" are drastically overblown.
2. There is a bug with the NHL 19 Soundtrack. I was creating a team and when I choose the custom goal horn, it totally shut down the soundtrack throughout the entire game, even on menu screens, etc. I literally had to eventually go into settings, change the audio to "NHL 19" then toggle back to "NHL 19 SOUNDTRACK." Wtf?!
3. Also, when you create a team, there is no way to preview the music for your goals, powerplay, etc. Nothing happens when you switch. You can't hear any other songs. Massive bug that needs fixing.
4. The lighting in this game is off. The players look darkish, especially in player editor mode, and the arena seats look very light, etc. The lighting and shadowing has more extremes than 18. I think I might need to get used to this, but it's frustrating. I made red seats for my area, using Detroit Red Wings red and the seats in the area preview look dark pink.
5. Create a player hair colors are a mess. If you create a player with blonde hair, it looks medium brown. NHL 18 was much better in this department. Like WTH!

I'm glad I told my gf to get Red Dead Redemption 2 for me instead of NHL for my bday. And I've been having so much fun playing Spider-Man, I'd have no reason to miss another average EA release.

Yikes, looks like this game has a lot of glitches and isn't a big improvement over 18.
It's also never good when there are no reviews posted within 48 hours of the game's official release. Usually means the developer isn't confident that it will receive positive scores.
Might pass on this franchise yet again.

The odd lighting is the first thing I noticed when watching videos of the beta. I was hoping this is something they would have fixed before release. Is lighting something that they can fix with a patch? For all their faults the one thing the EA NHL titles usually did a good job with was the visual presentation. It's kind of troubling that the game released with issues like this.
I would try and make the swap as fair as you possibly can. EA cracked down on "farming" in NHL 18, and teams were deleted, and accounts even suspended if they suspect you of farming with secondary accounts.
It was in the issue with the Beta. I personally play on the Xbox One and it's fixed for me. I dunno, I have't experienced any of these issues though

I purchased the Legends Edition last night and downloaded the full game. The lighting is exactly as I described... I'm playing 18 and 19 on the same exact TV set.... and XBOX ONE. The seats are washed out as if they're directly under bright lamps and the players' hair colors are completely out of whack.
I had to recreate Elias Pettersson because EA has him with a dark brown mullet and olive skin, and I tried to make him a pale guy with light blonde hair and even the absolute lightest blonde setting looks medium brown or darker.... it's silly.
Also, the audio glitch is killing me. No matter how I score a goal in any game mode, the audio goes blank... as if the game is looking to "pull in the goal horn" and there's an empty file. Is there anything I can do to fix?? Any suggestions??
