remember the time when HUT needed Position Change Cards and pulling a 87 was something good? Those were the fun times of the past.

I remember when putting a forward on D caused weird AI situations where they get stuck on line change. Now I use Messier as a D and he's probably my best D.

I moved my EVO Burns to upgrade my team. I'm enjoying this team quite a bit. LOVE Pronger and Pietrangelo but want to drop 27 to 2nd pairing. Weak at C and depth D. I haven't spent money on anything yet and don't have a lot of coins. I don't want to lose team synergies and I'm right at the edge with TN and S (I really think I need both of those for Pronger to be successful.)

I'm a Top 5000 CS player usually so nothing special. I only probably play 10 CS games a week and get SMOKED by good players.

Why not sell off EVO Rinne as well, considering goalies are a crapshoot. Ice Bob is good enough.

Use those coins to stack your center positions.

This week alone I’ve pulled a paved bure (92ovr), 91 Ovr Jari kuri, 90ovr Sergei gonchar, 91 ice Phil Kessel, and 2 gold collectibles, I’ve only opened 2 packs that I still have coming from the pre order, 1 advent, 1 trade in 10 gold players for 1 gold rare( Kessel)

Is everyone having this luck? Is it because of the Christmas? Best player I’ve ever pulled in about 3 years before this week was an 88 in a pack

I've only been playing HUT for a week now and I just don't understand the inconsistencies in gameplay.

Some matches are pretty even, but some games seem like opponents have god mode on. They win every puck battle (it feels like sometimes its impossible to get the puck out of my zone), every poke check turns the puck over to them, they score the cheesiest goals. Are there team management strategies I'm unaware of (head coaches etc..)? Do synergies make a noticeable difference?

Team synergies are important, as are player overalls. Some people just have quicker internet and are good at the game, though.

Set your AI to be aggressive and try to pressure for a turnover all you really can do .

It's called 'puck ragging'. There's no easy way to make it stop, but time your poke checks well and pressure them. The AI on the other team will be expecting the puck to be moved up the ice so there will likely be no support back, and if you take the puck there's a good chance you'll have a tap-in or great scoring chance.

Also, if you have any proof of it (such as a video), try to report it to the link below. It'll get the guy quite a few online disconnections in the future as people will be avoiding him.

Lucky. I made a huge mistake and traded it in for a Gold Player, knowing full well the Advent was a Gold Plus Pack. Just a force of habit, I guess.

EA just made a huge mistake. They released international bronze cards, which are very common in bronze plus packs. They quick sell for 2500, the cost of a bronze plus pack. So, in about 4/5 bronze plus backs, the quick sell for more than the pack was worth.

I've made 30k profit in less than an hour, plus a ton of bronze collectibles and the odd card I'll be auctioning.

Thanks !! I saw this last night and broke even but made 28 bronze collectibles to sell or trade in to gold for profit. It seemed to slow down so I stopped, then checked EA twitter and they stopped adding the IPOTG. Seen some people made 500K profit just buying bronze + & quick selling for 4-6 hours. That sure would have been nice!!

No it's not required. I have a 2nd non gold account I do the challenges on as well.

I had 9 Gold collectibles sitting around and three Evo collectibles. Found a way to juice up 50k to get the final three things I needed and completed an Evo set.

I have Bourque and Lidstrom and both are very good. Bourque I find better on offense, Lidstrom is better defensively.

I'm probably going to try Pronger at some point. A LOT of guys use Niedermyer, so I would assume he's pretty good. His synergies are solid as well.

Are you not a synergy guy? I'm only seeing two individual player synergies activated (and no team ones). I would try to build a team that has RS, FS, TN, LL and S activated.

I added Ice Crosby to my lineup and he's been awesome. The elite centre I desperately needed. He can shoot, he's shifty enough, and his passing is unreal. My team:

I'd like to get Bucyk off the D and get someone a little more mobile, but the 2 LL synergy is hard to replace. I might have to get a Niedermayer soon. I also have Ice Patty Kane I'd like to get in the lineup but can't seem to make it work.

Edit: nope, still passing directly to opponents and targets I try to pass to lift leg to let pass go to a more covered player behind him.

Played a earlier that was position locked as a goalie and went into the game with a perfect connection then suddenly turned on the lag spike after 30 seconds of gameplay. Went from 20 to 400 ms. Impossible to play.

Are you that bad and desperate to get a win? It wasn't even a CS match.
