NHL 15 price drop- Did we actually make a difference with our wallets?

I know a lot of these threads get moved but this in my opinion deserves its own. The price of the game has dropped significantly very shortly after its release indicating sales are either way down or ea finally acknowledges they released a beta for full price. I just wanted to know your guy's reaction on this.

Madden 15 was well received and it dropped price in a couple weeks, games just depreciate really fast these days.

Im not buying it no matter what the price is, EA needs to get their heads out of their *****. This could have been a way better game.
