yea, it's almost like philly rushed 4 all game and still gave him no time to do anything... game was won on the line of scrimmage

The offensive line was also a problem (and imo, a bigger problem). But Mahomes is not absolved of blame. He was terrible today.

he had literally no time.. literally took a heroic effort just for mahomes to escape and pick up a few yards with his legs and even then they runs were called back for holding...

it doesn't matter how good of a qb you are, if your o-line is getting beat that badly you are going to play horrible

In the 30 years I’ve been watching the NFL, I’ve never seen a more talented QB than Patrick Mahomes. The guy can run full speed one way, then throw the ball across his body to a receiver 30 yards down the field, to a guy running full speed going the other way.He’s the next best thing to magic, that I’ve seen in QB’s and best ever in my opinion.

Although Mahomes had a very bad game, you have to give a lot of credit to the Eagles defensive line, that had continual pressure on him. I think the Chiefs will look at this game, and start to rebuild their offensive line.

When you get down 14 -0 early in the game, start taking bad penalties and dropping balls, you can only expect to lose, and maybe the Chiefs did not focus for this game, and took the Eagles too lightly.

I was totally shocked by the score, but I full well expect to see the Chiefs back in the Super Bowl again, with Mahomes,and win a couple more Super Bowls.

Also have to give the Eagles a lot of credit, for preparing a great game plan, to thump the Chiefs the way they did.

As they say - great defense will win you championships, and it showed today.

Eagles D was great as you mention, but for 3/4 of the game Mahomes' recieving corps looked like they couldn't catch a practice lob. They were as much the ones to admit mea culpa as Old St. Patrick.
