Patriots/NFL NFL Patriots Off Season

So no offseason Hard Knocks this year, after that Giants shit show?

Can't say I blame the other NFL teams, although I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats front office in action....

I feel like Carter won't be there at #4 regardless of whether Giants take him or not (and I'm assuming Hunter goes #2 here). Either the Giants take him, or they put the pick on the market to try to move down a few spots (#4-8), and Carter goes at #3 anyway, just to another team. And then we could argue about the Patriots being too cheap to trade up in that scenario.

Giants and Browns both looking at QB's round 2. Teams aren't going to blow early picks on QB's like Sanders IMO. Looking at the draft overall, I feel like there will be minimal trades in round 1. All the prospects are the same unless maybe there is a run on a position.

eagles drafted bad guy jalen carter and it worked out, patriots can do the same with abdul

That be dumb but have heard whispers of them tanking again for Arch Manning

But NY is a MAJOR MAJOR city for sports and QBs are the stars of the NFL cant really see them skipping Sanders
The only thing worse than passing up the opportunity to draft a franchise quarterback is using a Top 5 pick to draft a franchise quarterback, and getting it wrong.

What more was he supposed to do beyond pulling the team off the field and forfeiting? Milton played all game, Gibson and Jennings were the backs and Boutte/Douglas were the most targeted receivers.

Milton never should have been allowed to throw so much. That's my biggest gripe. Should have been a vanilla non-offense of runs up the middle. Playcallling to win was an abomination. Aside from that you can't tell players not to play hard, for safety reasons alone.

Playing hard and competitive is fine. But Mayo was coaching to win because his time was up and he was/is pissed at the organization. They played that game like everything was on the line. And now it cost us.

Meanwhile we really took Harry over this man

It still haunts me

If you told me before that game was played that Drake Maye was only going to play one series, and that the Patriots were gonna let Joe Milton throw 30 passes, I would have told you they were trying to tank.
