Honestly think it’s because NFL players don’t want to live in Attleboro or Foxboro vs a place like NY or Miami or LA or even a major city like Pittsburgh. A lot of these guys wanna be able to go out, they’re for the most part in their 20’s. Idk if the Chili’s is what they’re looking for.

That’s a factor that we forget- we’re not competing against major destinations with Boston or even Providence. We are competing against them with Foxboro. And then of course we do poorly on the NFLPA scorecard every year too, and that’s obviously on our owner

I'm not sure there's a coach in the league players want to play for more than Tomlin. I think it might be that simple here.

Honestly, I've found the geographic criticism a little unfair. The Jets practice facility is further from Manhattan than Foxboro is from Boston, same with the Falcons and Atlanta and Bears with Chicago. A lot of the practice facilities are in the suburbs, so players aren't primarily working in the city anyway, so they're dealing with a significant commute, whether it's during the week or on Sundays, and that factors into where they'd choose to live, just as it does with Patriots players. The Patriots just get a bad rap because media talks about where teams play versus where they spend the week preparing.

Not even making Seattle an offer for DK Metcalf is down right embarrassing.

They better hope to God they sign Chris Goodwin because they are going to looking even more ridiculous than they already have.
