hell yeah. i get to watch my favorite football team (the Kansas City Chiefs) on my favorite holiday (Christmas)!
Players hate midweek games. Teams and owners want the revenue.

$$$$ Netflix is paying alot of money for exclusive rights to those games generating more money for the league. While everyone is at home, it as easy thing to put on and watch with nothing else on.

The league should tell them no. They won't be good forever, keep this inventory open.
That said, I wont be surprised if Christmas remains AFC heavy, as last year was. NFC (the older, more big-market conference) dominates Thanksgiving, and with the rule in place that games must be offered on free TV to the market's of playing teams, it makes sense for the league to use teams like KC, PIT, & LV with big national appeal but in smaller local markets.
