So $150 mill per team basically…..
Probably more.
The NFL has been ordered to pay $4.7 billion due to antitrust violations surrounding its “Sunday Ticket” package, but an even larger penalty is still on the table.

That's fair - you don't have to agree with it.

What isn't fair though is calling an opinion column "biased". That's literally the point of an opinion column.
Shouldn’t be posted imo. Garbage pieces should stay away from a broader audience

Then I suggest you start posting articles with substance rather than waiting for the next Yahoo Sports/AP article or column I find.

I will say that it’s weird to go down the “antitrust” road with professional sports. Because there’s a ton of precedent back in the early 20th century where it was basically ruled that Major League Baseball is exempt from antitrust law. This directly influenced the rules (or lack thereof) the other pro sports league had/have to follow.

They are all huge cartels of collaborating “individual owners” intent on holding a total monopoly on their respective sports. And there has been very little, ever, that has stopped them even in decades ago when the United States enforced antitrust laws diligently.

It’s very odd to me how so much of the economical political divide seems to be about whether you believe in overreach of government or overreach or corporations. In many ways, it’s an identical danger.

Federal judge overturns judgment. More details coming.

Important to highlight this was overturned by the same district court judge overseeing the lawsuit because the jury did not follow his orders when determining damages. Not overturned on appeal to a higher court/judge.
