That’s what happens when you tune in an hour early. . But I agree, seems like forever since the last game. Hoping for more competitive games this weekend.

I didn’t have any money on this game so I can speak from a point of neutrality on this. There was no strategical reason to intentionally give up that safety up 11 points with 9 seconds remaining in the game. That they did though and it affected the outcome of the point spread is going to raise eyebrows everywhere, to say the least, and it should. It’s going to be fun watching the fallout over that.

I’m guessing the thought process was that if the punt is blocked and the Texans score, they have a chance to win it with an onside kick. Giving up the safety kept it a two point score, and then KC can just kick it into the end zone and the game is basically over.
