Went to my first US college game yesterday. Saw ASU take on BYU down in Tempe. Pretty cool experience. Solid stadium and the energy was fun. It also was a great game to watch right down to the wire.

And no, I wasn’t one of the peeps that stormed the field with 1 second to play. I’d be afraid of getting trampled. Watched it all from the comfort of my seat.

My friend’s daughter is a senior officer with the Phoenix Police Dept and has done “special people” crowd control at SuperBowls, Tostito Bowls and other large events in the valley and she was saying all you do in those situations is grab your person of focus and steam roll anyone in your way as you try to get them out of the crowd and to safety. I asked who would be the people who would get that treatment and she said the two head coaches and the referee. Everyone else is on their own, lol. She’s a smaller gal (fit as all get out though) and says you don’t hesitate to use a strategically placed knee or elbow to make room.

College games in the US are incredible. I've been to 6 of them, including a couple of 4th-quarter comebacks. The crowd noise and atmosphere far exceeds anything I've ever experienced back in Canada (sorry Esks).

The absolute bucket list item though is to go a rivalry game in Alabama or Tennessee.

Lucky you. Yes, Any SEC game would be great. I’d also be up for an Ohio - Michigan matchup at the Horseshoe.

Yup, super awesome. I've seen more college hoops games but 1 bowl game and a college season opener. My goal is to see an Ol' Miss game with tailgating in the Grove. And can't forget a Notre Dame home game in South Bend.

Pretty entertaining last five minutes. The whole game was a special teams debacle, one for the ages. Harbaugh Bowl should be a fun one tonight.

Bears are on the verge of a massive comeback on the road.

EDIT: Bears are going full Oilers in the waning seconds.

WOW. That is fireable clock management by the Bears HC.

EDIT 2: And also by Williams. That's a Patrik Stefan level of failure.

It wasn’t if Da Bears were going to fail hilariously, it was how. Incredible how they keep blowing end of games. At least the game became watchable in the second half.
