Andy is the most likely to go. Hughes mentions him to media all the time about GMs asking for him. He is dangling him.

I think a Slaf - Dach - Armia could be interesting in TC. MAYBE gally - Dach - Armia if Slaf is sent to Laval.

Gallagher won't play on a 4th line. That is 100% sure. One of Drouin, Hoffman or Dadonov has to go, unless Hughes trades Anderson for a great return. Strong chances that Petry won't be back. Do expect that they gonna sign a guy like Deslauriers to play lw on the 4th of. Outside Evans and Armia, who can kill penalties ?

I'd give Slafkovsky 9 games and unless he rips it up I'd rather send him to Laval or Liiga, we haven't developed an elite forward in over a decade so forgive me if I don't trust the system.

I think Slaf should be in Laval and should get in the NHL in 2 or 3 years.

The sooner he’ll play in the NHL, the sooner the fans will sour on him and want a trade.

I feel like, if this year he has a bad NHL season he’ll be ok. But if he is here and there is no progress next year, then fans will already start to demand performance and he’ll be only 20 years old.

Worst thing that can happen is that Wright get 50 pts this year while Slaf get 20 or 30. Then Slaf would feel what real pressure looks like.

I feel like Evan is too injury prone and he’s actually battling poehling for the fourth line role. It probably is Pitlick instead of Pezetta on the fourth. I forgot about him.

I’m sure Slaf will get a crack with Suzuki and Caufield. Dach will be compete with Dvorak in the middle two center spots. Evans as the 4th C. Shuffle everyone else until something sticks. Think Poehling will be the dark horse breakout now that he’s healthy.

I actually feel that if they develop well,
Caufield Dach Slaf, is a better fit than Caufield Suzuki Slaf.

Like to play Drouin on top line. Build up his trade value for deadline. His speed will match up well. But doubt he last long.

If Slap-em-silly starts the year in Montreal (could go that way briefly, to give him a sense of what he needs to work on in Laval), the lines I would want to see are:
