Solid win where while you would have liked to see the offense do more, you also can't really complain either.

Cease was the tough matchup. They get two dudes i've never heard of and avoid both King and Pivetta.

Need at least a series win here.

Indeed, though I was wondering if Santander thought it was out and was trotting into 1st base instead of hustling, if he did he might have made it to 2nd. the replays never showed.

He hesitated a bit off the bat, but it was going to be tough either way based on how hard he hit and Tatis being out there.

Tatis has a really good arm so even if he was out of the box quickly not sure he would have gone.

So we're really paying 52 million plus this year for Scherzer, Santander, and Gimenez for -0.3 WAR? Rogers must love how efficiently our front office spends money. :sarcasm:

I'm sure Shapiro raised that amount for the budget by searching the Rogers household's couch cushions during the company christmas party.
