Any update on his health regarding next season, all good to go?
I thought CMac made a comment in his end of the season presser where he said there wasn't nothing more than bumps and bruises to all but Ross at that point?Should be all good since he would not have played in the playoffs if that wasn't the case. Unless there are unexpected setbacks etc.

Cavalier son of a bitch acts like Tucker Poolman was nobody, but whatever.

Most importantly, I think Mack needs it.All indications suggest he's essentially back and ready to go for Day 1 next year.
I think that'll be a pretty significant dynamic change for us next year. To have the captain back on the ice with these guys all season.
Very exciting.
You're assuming Landeskog will need to rest. I'm assuming he will work his butt off this offseason and be ready for an 82 game (plus playoffs) schedule. IMHOThe playoffs show that Landy can still perform at a 2nd line level. I think the question for next season is how many games he can play and still be able to maintain that level when the playoffs come around. Playing a full 82 game season seems like an unreasonable ask. I'd be happy with 50+ games, but that does mean that the team is going to have to figure out what to do with the approximately 40% of the games where he is resting.
Easy, we just go 50-0 with him in the lineup and can lose the other games no problemThe playoffs show that Landy can still perform at a 2nd line level. Three years without the bumps and bruises of a full hockey season, and nothing to do but work on his conditioning for large part of that break. He should be ready to go and better than ever. As long as the knee holds. I'm so freaking excited about this because of how much of a miracle it is that he's back to playing. Good to hear his positive comments, means that there wasn't a setback caused the playoff games. The playoffs show that Landy can still perform at a 2nd line level. That is what my comment is about. No one has successfully come back from this surgery to play an entire season. Its been heavily implied if not outright said that he will have to manage his knee for the rest of his career. I'm not worried about his conditioning. As long as the knee holds.
Gotcha. Hopefully we'll have a better start to the season than last year, so we can take it easy. That is what my comment is about.
