Blue Jays GDT: Next: vs Phi | Tue, Jun 3 | 7pm ET/4pm PT | Sanchez vs Francis

Blue jays get the series sweep at home, 4 straight wins against the A’s, a team they should have beat anyway . But still, YES!!!!

Now let’s take on the Phils. Jays better be ready because the Phillies are a good team loaded with bats.

At this point all you really have to do is get in to have a shot. With the changing to seeding, the baseball playoffs are a bigger crapshoot than they were even before.

Now i'm not saying to expect a Cinderella run out of this team or nothing, but it also wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Remember that allegedly garbage can Diamondbacks team in 2023 that barely snuck into the playoffs and then decided to go to the world series?

By far the craziest sport for surprise postseason outcomes.
Easy bud. We beat one of the worst teams in baseball. Fun series to watch but that's all it is

They've lost 4 in a row and got blown out yesterday. Not sure how they are doing today but we may get lucky and get another ice cold team.

The hitting coaches deserve credit. They got Barger hitting like he did before 2024. Straw is having his best year since 2021. Kirk is looking like he did in 2021 and 2022. Springer doesn't look washed up. Lukes looks great.

I came across this yesterday on Twitter. Looks like they tried to dick around with Springer's approach as well because he looks like he did in 2021 and 2022.

"The Blue Jays asked Addison Barger to make some adjustments last year that just were not advantageous to him, and he hated them. He was fighting against his natural muscle memory where he's comfortable at the plate, and he talked to Lou/Pop about it, and they told him to go back to what you're comfortable with and what got you to the big leagues"- Arden Zwelling on the JD Bunkis pod
