No the gaps of captains after Ray and Z were pathetic. One of the most humiliating things the organization could possibly do to Bergeron bc he was the real captain no Chara.
I don't think they name one this season but my money is on Pasta. By multiple coaches' accounts he's the most connected to the entirety of the team. He's far from perfect, no one is, but he has the play to back it up. I think the second he dropped the gloves with Tkachuk last year was the day I knew he'd be the next captain. Not at all to slight McAvoy and I've never heard anything to suggest he's not a phenomenal teammate and person.
The real answer is no one knows. McAvoy got an A for Team USA despite there being several other captains on the team. I think it'll be a similar thing to Z-Bergy either way where even they consider themselves "co-captains".

I appreciate they were productive at one point but this year they were pathetic addition by subtraction. Coyle was somehow worse than Brandon and he's the worst Bruin in recent memory that wasn't a minimum contract.
Zaddy fits better without a no offense RD soft 2nd pair on the other side the two could never play together and it messed things up.

Zacha is the second longest tenured Bruin at this point with Mac and Hampus out, which is nuts to think about
Elias Lindholm might claim one based on his contract and being on the first line
Those are exactly who came to mind. Lindholm wore the A in both Calgary and Vancouver so it makes sense that he'd wear one. Love to see Pavs get the opportunity.
