Sounds a little crazy to say, but we absolutely "have to" come away with 4 pts. vs the Devils this weekend. The old adage of "beating the teams below you" is a must. Those 2 losses already to them hurt MORE than losing b2b with Boston awhile ago. Why? Because losing to Boston isnt a disgrace and somewhat expected, but losing to the Devils should NOT be happening, NOT if they want to make the PO's.

B2B's vs Pitt, Boston, Philly and Washington soon, thereafter so, win these 2 first, and start climbing the ladder. We will find out very soon, whether we will be sinking or swimming as this season progresses.

We have to shoot for 5-3 vs those teams, while sweeping Devils. Already 4-2 in last 6 games, but will sound much better being 11-5 over last 16. Right?

Also, I've come to the conclusion as to why we suck at home. Quinn. Just look at the teams that are superior at home. Why? Coaching. A great deal of it has to do with having a good coach. Last change/match ups, cant blame it on fans not being there, everyone's had no fans.

Also........ win the Gosh darned FO's! How many times do I have to say it! Haha.

that was what has been consistently reported, that he'll return to the lineup most likely Sat afternoon vs Devs, possibly Sun nite vs Pens
 
Maybe they can play at 50 percent of what they showed Friday night vs the crap we saw Tuesday for more than two periods

without KK, Bread and Trouba and with a depleted Mika their lineup is better than ours. Shesty needs to play well tonight. He can be the difference.

If he has had symptoms, ok. If not, why the f*** would you not play him tonight? Entire teams have been playing after just one practice since coming from the COVID-list (New Jersey for an example, and they actually beat us), so why would you not play him? This team needs more offense, inject him in for crying out loud.

Why do we always jump to these conclusions?

He wasnt hurt pre covid, what makes you think that hes hurt now? If he were hurt he wouldn't even be participating in drills.

If anything, the organization is guilty of rushing players back way too quickly or playing guys who are already hurt into being injured.

Kakko hasn't done anything in 2 weeks. I don't have any problem giving him an extra day or 2 to get back into the swing of things.
