We're doing pretty good, except for allowing too many good chances on the PK.

Edmonton's PK is my favorite here though. 32nd and 1st.

What is striking to me is our GF and xGF ranking at even strength is the same. What we are seeing right now this year is what the BrindAmour offensive attack can be when played to potential.

So, just went back and looked at our 3 "epic collapse" periods (STL, COL, UTAH)...11 GA (28% of our GA this season) scored in just a hair over 15 min. Just shows that when you completely forget how to hockey things can get ugly in a hurry against even "bad" NHL teams (COL & Utah are 1 point over .500, STL is <.500)

I know we were able to tread water momentarily last year when we needed Martin to bail us out, but if we are looking to be without Freddie and Kooch for any extended period, I just don't trust him to do the same for us this year.

This situation is pretty much why I don't want to bring Freddie back once his contract expires. He's made of glass, and you almost know you're going to eventually need to start a AHL goalie if Kooch gets hurt. When he's healthy he can be great, but that juice might not be worth the squeeze going forward.

Honestly probably this year if he hadn't already been on contract
