On a side not about Puckpedia. Why the hell did the Caps owner buy that nhl cap sight. He had so know the second they left somebody would just come in and provide similar information. I have to think he had some foolish idea that if he bought the site the information would just go away

I think it was less about the information going away and more about them wanting the code and tech behind the website for themselves rather than all the other teams having access to it. PuckPedia is a solid replacement, but CapFreindly was still a step or two above.

Ok that is fair enough, at least that makes sense that you buying it for some positive reason to help you

16% would be like 5 guys. My guess is it's more like 16% play at least 100 games because I am guessing at least 1 game would be much higher

Just randomly picking a recent draft in 2014 18 of 30 picks played at least 1 game, 11 played at least 100 games, 7 played at least 300 games and 4 have so far played more than 500 games

They mentioned that on XM when discussing the Marchand trade and the 2nd round pick stating it was better to get an actual prospect vs the 2nd rounder since the likelihood it turns into a player is very low.
