An increase in the cap, just means overpaying mediocre players and rationalizing the value of bad contracts. Top players will always get paid top dollar that the league can handle. That hasn’t changed.

History repeats itself . Here’s a useless something I thought was interesting . Utah is last in the league at 11,000+ per home game . Well the Delta center was built for basketball and seats like 19 or 20,000 but for hockey only has 11,000 unobstructed seats .
They sell up to 5,000 one goal view seats on weekends and for big games . I just don’t know if they have a Honda in the stands
