hell I won't say I haven't considered putting in for an IT position at Caesar's that opening in Danville considering the pay is most likely better than what I'm making now.

True story. A friend of a coworker started working for us a little more than 2 years ago. He had no prior work experience other then fast food and a few under the table jobs. He started part time while going to DCC. Graduated with a 2 year degree in cyber security from a community College. He left us in March to work on the casinos cameras starting at 26 dollars an hour.
Living in Danville i can tell you thats damn good money for this area. Having worked in electronic security for 25 years I dont make a ton more then that, although I have other perks.
That kid is living well, guess I trained him right lol.
So yeah Ceasars is paying well above the going rate in this area. Wait till the real casino is open and the restaurants start hiring, they will shut down quite of few of the chains around here cause they won't be able to outpay them

I'm glad Rod didn't have to deal with this while having the team be in the Cup final. Very sad for his family.

Bob was a great person - very down to earth.
We sat next to him one game back in ‘07, I think. He talked to us - and everyone else around him, lol - the entire game. Oh, yeah - in English & in French.
He even gave us his Cup ring to wear for a bit.
RIP Bob.

My daughter just got her first job at a Dairy Queen, which we set up. I warned her about creeps and she'd have her first experiences with very soon. On day 2, some asshole arrives delivering a freezer, throws a plastic snake at her and her other teenage girl co-worker, then proceeds to piss all over the floor in the bathroom (in the corner away from the toilet) for them to mop up, leaves the faucet on, and then rolls out of there. She comes home nearly dying from laughter.
Boss hasn't even signed her work papers or W-4 yet, hasn't answered her emails, wasn't there when she was working. Good times. Good thing she's a straight A student and has already internalized that this will be life forever if you f*** up even once.
