I agree with this. Goals and assists should be worth the same. I can understand why goal scoring for d-men is worth more but I think for forwards it should be the same.

I agree because I wouldnt have drafted 3 defensemen already if they werent so valuable

The rules will have to be changed. The point system is flawed (you get a point for a negative +/- by a defender, it completely devalues a playmaker, you get points for your goalie losing games, if your goalie gets a lucky empty net goal, you have a ridiculous point advantage, etc), and the salary cap is way too low. These are things that should have been ironed out beforehand but are really going to affect the game negatively if they are not altered. Plus, defensemen would still get more points for scoring goals. What I proposed is not taking the value away from defensemen.

Nashville picked before 10am so LA was skipped at 11, SJ at 12, and DAL will be at 1. Both the SJ and DAL GM's have been PM'ed.
