Canada is just a little better right now, a little looser. I have been watching hockey for a long time and can tell when a team is just too damn tight, like the US is. I wish they would loosen up just a little and freaking play their butts off in the 3rd.

Huge in multiple ways, because not only should it have given the good guys a major PP, it should have also removed the best player from the game.

It’s amazing how predictable this was from the moment I turned on the broadcast at 1045. All they would talk about was how the US wanted to treat this game like any other. It’s the wrong attitude. You have to be aware of the situation, build energy from that and then focus it.

That attitude is why they came out flat.

Still plenty of time, although Canada looks like the Rangers in game 7s pre-Tampa series.

It’s downright unprofessional on the refs part. (I was typing this as the goal was scored)

A good NHL ref would’ve seen the replay and found a way to give the US a powerplay as a makeup.
