Anyone need a pair for tonight vs Toronto? The guy who wanted my tickets for tonight had a medical emergency so he can't go anymore.

Section 209, Row 11, seats 14 and 15. $292.50 is my price for the pair, but feel free to message me with offers.

It’s amazing to me the premium a game at MSG is getting relative a game between the same opponents a few miles away at Prudential Center. Tickets to Game 3 at MSG are 150% the price of comparable seats to Game 1 at the Devil’s home ice. You would think given the substitutability between the two products that would be arbitraged away, but I guess there are a ton of Manhattan Rangers fans who will NOT travel a 15 minute train ride to Newark.

Yeah I guess there are many of those too who can’t be bothered to save a few bucks taking a train ride.

I’m also exaggerating the price difference. When I first looked at seats it was on Ticketmaster where there is a sizeable difference in prices between the two venues but the prices between them are more alike on Stubhub.

First round tickets just went up 25%
This is unfortunate, I think? I was looking to flip the game 4 tix for game 3 so I can come down and make it a whole Saturday. Also, place I stay at is crazy more expensive for a Monday night stay than Saturday which is bonkers

I don't think you realize how long the trip can take after 10PM. The path can itself be a nightmare with some routes closing and NJ transit can also have long waits late at night. There is no chance I'd go to a game 1 at newark or any game that started at 8PM. Game 2 presuming a 7PM start is doable.

Have you ever taken the train from LI, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island to the Prudential Center?

Isn’t that a hotel industry standard - weekends cheaper than weekdays ?
Hmm I guess I never realized tbh. Turns out the ole lady can't go either, so now I'm finding a road partner to drive down with. Looking like it will be more of a come down, and then drive back after deal.

If all goes right, I hope to god the first MSG game in round 2 would be a weekend!

Right now, round 2 game 1 slated for May 2 (tuesday) would be a home game if the isles beat the canes. So its just another reason to root against the isles.

This is as long as there is a 7 game series right? I know that's pretty tentative. It would be crazy for a first round to not have a 7 game series at all.

Was lowkey hoping to see them play Isles in playoffs at home after seeing Game 7 vs Canes last year, but Tuesday vs Saturday..... hmm idk.

I don't know if they move up the series if they all finish early. I have no expectations of the rangers winning in less than 6. If they win it'll be 6 or 7 games IMO.
