It's so funny to me that Jim Fox and Bob Miller NEVER say a bad thing about the Kings. I mean, I know we won 2 cups in 3 years but holy ****, you can be a little bit negative and help the fans ease their mind. This team is poor, I don't know if we're missing Voynov or the aggressivness of Regehr. Jonathan Quick isn't playing well either but our D is nowhere near what it used to be. I can't watch McBain and Schultz, it hurts my eyes. Why is McNabb not playing? How are Schultz and McBain better than McNabb?

I dunno, I thought Bob was gonna start laughing when he kept having to say "Kings turn it over."

I hate to say this, but this team is mentally weak. They can't hold leads because any goal against them opens flood gates. They then can't score because no one wants the puck..Teams don't even bother playing their starters against us anymore. No one's dropped the gloves.

Bigger problem is the complete lack of hitting, most likely because they've just played too much hockey.

I wonder if DL is regretting keeping Greene over Mitchell.

He should be. I mean who isn't?

But don't forget Greene has da LEADERSHIP.

Well it's like I said on the main board GDT...will copy and paste one sec

List Mitchell for nothing, no voynov, McNabb scratched and likely hurt, Regehr hurt and still a few games away. Doughty and Muzzin are playing half the game which makes them make some stupid decisions, last years 3rd pairing is playing as our second pairing (Martinez-lolgreene), and we are trotting out Jeff Schultz and Jamie McBain as our third pairing.

Aka soft, no chemistry. It's a different team. We've been a defensive sieve for a while but more noticeably when Regehr went down

I only mention the glove drops because I want to know where the passion is. Why isn't anyone else getting mad? Quick seems to be the only one that gets pissed off when they play like garbage. What about the others?

I love Bob with all my heart but he's getting too old for this lol. The guy can't keep track of who's who out there

...and Herby has backed his opinion up with facts pretty much every step of the way.

What do we get from the other POV? Intangibles!!! He's a winner!!!

Don't get me wrong I respect everything that Richards has accomplished, but I think the Kings could use some new blood in his role.

Ha, thanks, but consider the source. Certain people just refuse to look at things objectively and instead to just choose to ignore almost every metric possible. I guess intangible > tangible

They have now resorted to praising him because he hasn't been on the ice for any goals against tonight, but again when you are a minus in seven of twelve games without a single positive mixed in you can be excited over being an even +/-, even if you were in the box for a PP goal.

This team is completely dysfunctional right now! The line change all the time, the d pairings are changing all the time, DD has lots of minutes, quick can't save them, several players look slow( at least as the shifts wear on), they can't breakout, centers have to be like a third D all the time, if teams come with numbers deep they tend to get the loose pucks and start cycling, did I forget anything! Oh yes, several players just aren't very good shooters (although several are) at all!! It's hard to watch! Might get worse before things get better!!!

Yeah, Dean needs to add atleast one defenseman at the deadline. Mitchell is gone, Voynov is likely gone and you can't expect to go the whole way with no injuries. The Regehr injury was the straw that broke the camels back.

Realistically, the Kings should really be looking for 2 defenders, but that probably can't happen unless Dean frees up a lot of salary.

This team is going to continue to suck until a trade is made. There is no ****ing excuse to get out worked after having 4 days off against a team that played last night. Just sick.

It doesn't appear that the Kings have enough defense on the blue line, or with the way the forwards are playing this season to make another serious run.

Dean is going to have to make a move to correct the situation, and soon.

I wonder if Dean is holding out hope for a Voynov return before the deadline. If he truly knows Slava is likely done he should be actively looking to add D. And really should have been looking since the Slava arrest.

If the Kings can get Voynov and Regehr back in place of Schultz and McBain I think we could still make a run, but they are going to greatly miss Mitchell in the playoffs.
