Bit weird when Salah is a defensive head coach, and that side of the ball seems to be working well for the Jets despite the Reddick debacle.

Feels like a monkey paw moment with Salah wishing he could get a good QB in 2023. Sure, but you get 4 snaps of that QB, then you get a few games of a 42 year old injured weirdo.

Despite the Reddick debacle, the Jets have still had a top 10 defense this year. This feels like a tantrum from either the owner or the QB. Maybe both.

Salah is not a good HC but the problems of team won't go away with him gone

If anything, they risk stepping back defensively firing him at this point

I am just going to assume Rodgers organized palace coup

When Saleh gets hired by a franchise that isn’t dysfunctional, I think he’ll prove he can be a head coach. But clearly he was handcuffed

I'd have bought this as an organizational call if Hackett had gone with Saleh. I'm sure the firing wasn't directly asked by Rodgers but the fact that Hackett is staying on while Saleh gets the boot definitely reeks of something more personal.

I don’t care what machination got him fired, Rodgers or otherwise, he had to go. He was trash.

The fact that Hackett is still there is astounding.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Saleh get a chance elsewhere and rebound ala Darnold and Smith.

Jets being the Jets. Now they can trade for Davante Adams.
