Whoa this thread is fantastic!!! I just got my own apartment finally, living alone, SO HAPPY to be single and free and supporting myself, but I live in Jackson NJ, so getting to NYC and back is a whole day but I do it every once in a while, I am from Brooklyn so I see my relatives there. But that list of places and things to do was great, by the OP, idk where the hell you found all that data and content and organized it so well. I'm printing that **** out and putting it on my bulletin board for future reference when I go into NYC with my friends or by myself.
R211 trains are making nice progress apparently
Getting in as in holding the doors or do you mean this on a more theoretical scaleDo they prevent people from getting in and blocking egress?

That was my thought. Everywhere I have to be that week is within a block of my hotel. Everything else I have no time constraints.100% get the weekly metrocard for $32. You'll spend the same on single cab ride across town and the cab won't save you time anyway. Spend the money on food and drink. Plus, people-watching on the subway is part of the experience.
Open gangway between all train cars so now the entire train will get the added benefit of the fecal smell from the homeless guy sleeping across 6 seatsR211 trains are making nice progress apparently

If I'm staying in the Meadowlands, does that card work for me?

Not really sure where to post this as there's no OT related thread so I guess this will have to do. But me and my friends went to see Bill Burr at the Garden and by god he didn't disappoint. This is my second time seeing him, ( saw him in '13 at the Beacon Theatre, and he was amazing then ) but this time was an all time performance. I may be a bit more of a fan boy but he's up there with Eddie Murphy, Dave Chapelle, Richard Pryor, etc. for GOAT stand up comedian.
His set was supposed to be from 8:45 to 9:45
( sold out crowd so they took a little longer to start the opening acts and all that. ) but he went on until 10:20, saying "I know I've been going on long enough but c'mon...this is MSG". No matter where you see him though, I highly recommend him, amazing performer. His set is very organic and natural, he flows from one joke to the next without it feeling forced at all.
I probably sound like a shill at this point, but I had such a good time and just had to tell someone else besides my friends who are getting annoyed with me at this point![]()
Will be going to my first game on the 2nd (Jets fan from Nova Scotia). What am I looking at for beer and food prices at MSG? Also best place to get pizza in Manhattan?? Really looking forward to it. Hope I dont get too much flak for wearing my Jets jersey

My apologies if this is the wrong thread to ask this. I was gifted tickets in the signature suite level. I was told there is a separate entrance gate for the suites. I'm taking my son for his 1st live game and would love to bring him down closer to ice level for warm ups. But does anyone know if you can go down to the ice level for warm-ups and then go up to the suites after?
