Islanders have 5 es goals in thrir last 5 games against us. Lost 7 of their last 8, win against winnipegs ahl team
One that's not elaborate and can be done every time without having to sit around thinking of new surge ideas when they can be sitting around thinking about how they're going to kick their next opponent's ass, I meanYou mean like have one after every home game?
Big reach what are you going to do if we fail to achieve it?I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we're 5-0 after 5.
Checkers was sloppy as can be
Canes are legit
So much roster turnover and a new coach. This season is going to be interesting, but I expect them to be a playoff team at worst.

I... meant to mean that they've standardized taking a W from every home game, so they can... you know. One that's not elaborate and can be done every time without having to sit around thinking of new surge ideas when they can be sitting around thinking about how they're going to kick their next opponent's ass, I mean
They've graduated and lost too many players the last 2 seasons to be as good as they were. Good problem for the NHL team, not so good for the AHL. At least most of the prospects down in the AHL now are going to get a lot of minutes rather than being blocked by AAAA journeymen types.definitely not as deep and skilled as last year
Give Don Cherry a brain aneurysm? Wait, does that require someone having brain cells?I... meant to mean that they've standardized taking a W from every home game, so they can... you know.
That and lots of new guys means time to gel and form chemistry. Was disappointing they came out and just dominated the first 15 min or so of the game and then completely forgot how to hockey for the next 45. Plus baby Tim Peel out theredefinitely not as deep and skilled as last year
Hamilton, when asked about his offensive start: "Opportunity is the biggest thing and... I've wanted this opportunity for a while."
Well that's not the most insightful thing he's ever said.RBA diplomatically just said Peel is an idiot.
Yeah that was striking to me.

If Sellgren didn't go back to Sweden I imagine that Checkers defense would still be really good, and they still probably will be pretty good.Checkers IMO should be just fine. Just a lot of departures and replacements to fit in, plus new ELC guys completely rookie to the AHL game.
