Not the worst looking website I've seen. It doesn't bother me that much because I usually get my news from other places so I hardly visit their website.

What is the deal with websites switching to these huge video/picture visuals? It's seriously so overwhelming and there looks to be no consistency in the website. NHL.com did the same thing.

That website lags so bad on any type of network/computer I try.

These new platforms are made with tablets in mind. Also, these "minimalist" designs are much easier to adapt to mobile while maintaining the brand "look".

Less text, more multimedia. Audiences these days have a shorter attention span.

It is a new marketing trend.

This is not at all like the websites that they pushed in the survey I took. It doesn't look like a website for a multi-million dollar company.
