To the original poster: that is one failure of an analogy. Did the L.A. Kings acquire highly-touted free agents? No. Most Kings fans even bitc#ed, whined, moaned, and groaned how the team failed to land Brad Richards during the 2011 Off-season and when the team landed Simon Gagné instead, most Kings fans cried because he's not Luc Robitaille.

I miss collectively comparing Simon Gagne, Mike Richards, and Jeff Carter as the Three Musketeers.

Today I was browsing some new fonts for an unrelated project and this one caught my eye. Thought it would be funny to make a goofy photo. Didn't realize it would be analyzed with such scrutiny.

And I don't remember anyone calling them the Three Musketeers.

Philadelphia? Kind of a more childish, immature, I have to watch because it's such a train wreck, wannabe nWo, but where some of the best parts (Hall and Nash in the clique days) of the nWo came from.
