If this team could put up more than 10 points a half they’d be a real problem

O line will have sam running for his life all season

Help me out, football nerds. What happened to handing off to a running back with momentum? You know, the RB starts to run and you hand him the ball in stride.

It feels like most of the time these days they hand it to a RB that's standing still, the RB stutter-steps in place for couple seconds, picks his lane, tries to go, and gets nothing.

We've been doing it A LOT the last couple years, but I"m noticing it more everywhere. What's the thought process there? Is it a misdirect? Are they trying to trick someone?

New drinking game: Every time Chic says "burgundy and gold", drink! Did he forget the name of the team? Did the new owners tell him not to say "Commanders" too often, since they are going to change it? :naughty:

Chase is hurt? Dude is glass
Beginning to think that he might be a bust... :D

When the o-line is struggling run the ball. You don’t make it to the NFL as an O-lineman without being an average run blocker, at least. Like being a good skater in the NHL.

I got to say Howell is showing poise in the pocket and making good decisions. Conversion on 4th down and 3 keeps the drive alive.

TD Washington!

It’s how offenses run these days. Having a running back run downhill for handoff is an obvious sign of running the ball. Play action options are limited. But if you do the handoffs they do now the play action options are numerous. RPO.
