I don't like the new line combos. Why doesn't Sutter leave Richards and Carter together? Together they've been producting goals , more than any other combo in April. What the hell is MR supposed to do with Dwight King? Williams would have been better. Another long night...

Lines at practice appear to be 13/11/77, 74/10/22,25/28/14, 73/15/71, 23/24 extra

Hate it....you're in the last game of the season and you're shuffling all four lines because one player is out??

Not Sutter-esque at all.

That's just it, it didn't work before and esp not vs the Red Wings. Shuffling 4 lines = another loss. He had better options. Hopefully they'll get some PP time and at least MR and JC can work there or 4 x 4.

Bad timing...we need this game. Can't understand what he's thinking.

I hope he just did it to shake things up at practice. There is no reason to break up Richards and Carter.

I don't know what Sutter is doing, not a big fan of any of those lines. Breaking up Lewis and Stoll is a mistake.

Mind blowing

Yeah, why changes things up when the team has been play so well lately? Right?

Splitting up Carter and Richards does not work. It's killing production to have them apart. And why is King on the second line and Williams on the third line? And Clifford up with Carter and Kopi. Lewis and Stoll split up and and ARG

They've been very consistent all year. Don't get why he didn't just replace Brown. If he keeps to the those lines, it's giving the Sharks a big advantage, if they can shut down the first line , there isn't much left. Decreases the Kings scoring chances. If he wants Carter on the 1st line , then why not keep TT and Williams on the 2nd? Disrupting all 4?

Maybe he'll go with new pairings tomorrow morning.

Great. Even more ice time for king now. LOL just terrible. The 1st line is ok but after that just a disaster.

Here we come again Vancouver.

Even with the hate Penner gets here he is the best option. We should have just put him on the first line. Do what we'd done with TT in the line up before moving Richards and Carter over and him moving into the second line. That way we still have 2 solid lines that they have to worry about.

I can agree lets just hope this is for practice and not what is being planned.

I'm going to see how this extremely temporary experimentation shakes out before condemming it. Top 3 lines are all going to get about 16-17 minutes, will be interesting to see if a spark catches.

I just don't like it because of how close to the playoffs it is. It's breaking up 2 pairs that seem to have very good chemistry Kopi and Williams, Cater and Richards. And we haven't lost 3 games in regulation in a row this year. But we have lost 3 with one of them being in OT. But that happened back in the first week of the season. So I just think blowing things up, for lack of a better term, is not warranted. When things get broken up sometimes it take awhile for them to come back together. And we don't have that time.

If Brown was in, the lines would be the same as usual. He's not, and the Kings haven't been scoring that much at ES lately, so why not mix it up. The lines will be back to normal for Game 1 against whoever.

These lines are much better than the ones against Detroit. Everyone is playing their "normal" positions. Richards on the wing is just bad.

Quick. Only way it's otherwise is if Darryl doesn't care about playoff positioning, which considering these lines...maybe he will start Bernier.

Can't think he doesn't care but could know by the time the game starts if we will have a chance at getting home ice.

But why is it I think the worst thing that could happen to us is for STL to lose in regulation tomorrow. And us to lose in OT/SO. Meaning we would have to play SJ with them having home ice.I'm ok facing them but I do think if it is us vs SJ having home ice will be huge, based off how each of us has taken care of our homes.
