I just love this new logo, so classy. I'm going to be forking out a lot of money on new Leafs paraphernalia lol. If that was their intention, I'm hooked.

Logo looks nice, but those ads around it don't.

I really think the Leafs should go with one colour ads on the ice and on the boards.

It was either the ACC or MTS Centre one game last year where they had camouflage ads on the boards. Looked very uniform and nice.

Imagine the ACC with all ads a shade of dark blue.

Don't really think the corporations paying big $ to be featured on the boards each home page would want their logo to be revised like that. Assuming the logos themselves (i.e. not the background or something) were actually camo in the game you mentioned from last year, they probably only got buy-in from the corporations cause it was a "military night" of some sort. I doubt they'd want their logo blue all 41 home games. I feel like the Leafs would have to charge less per slot if blue was the condition, but maybe I'm wrong.

I mean in the pictures in the OP, can you imagine the Canadian Tire or Coca-Cola logo blue instead of the red? Would be really cool and I'd love to see it, but I can't see it happening.

I was wondering the same. Maybe the World Cup logo is like the ads on the boards, doesn't really exist?

World Cup logo is likely a large vinyl sheet under the top few layers of ice, on top of the painted logo.

Makes you wonder why they don't just vinyl sheet the actual Leaf logo...
