Did we ever find out where the Adidas jerseys are getting customized now?

If you mean by the on-ice jerseys the players wear, it is Philly Express who are doing them now.

The catch is they don't work with the public. If you want your jersey done by PX then you have to drop off your jersey at a Flyers Skate Zone and have them send it in.

isn't the difference between the "replica" and "authentics" in this version of the jerseys only like $50?

There's a reason for that, and that reason is that the Adidas "authentics" are by far the cheapest made NHL jerseys in my lifetime of being familiar with on-ice jerseys, which goes back to the mid 1980s.

And "next cheapest" isnt even in the rear view mirror. These Adidas things are genuinely low-quality, cost-trimming, junk.

Most people who post in the jerseys thread are well-aware that I disliked the Reebok jerseys compared with prior offerings labeled, CCM, KOHO, Starter, Nike, Pro Player, etc.... all of which were better than the Reebok jersey. But the Reebok jersey is like a Lambourghini compared to this Adidas trinket.

Fighters and psychopaths are always fan favorites.

Yup, the low-IQ fan who's doesn't like hockey that much, but is there for the fighting.

At the AZ game the other night I heard a guy a few rows behind me say to his friend, "You haven't really gone to many games in a while", and his friend replied, "yeah, there's hardly any fighting anymore".

Thanks for the heads up! I can probably take a trip down there.

Hey just an update - I emailed Philly Express to confirm if I should be having a Flyers Skate Zone send in the jersey and this is what they said:

Flyers Gear Zones will handle just about any personalization but we’re still new to our work with the New Jersey Devils so I’m not sure if there would be a clash between the teams as if its ok for a Flyers location to do a Devils jersey. If it’s a Flyers jersey it should be no problem.

Alternatively, you can contact Hockey Services out of Michigan for the personalization for any jersey as well.

I'll reach out to them both and see what they say. I'll report back.

I don’t think I’ve actually seen a live fight in more then 2 years

Go take a look at the hockey fights part of HF, used to be a number of threads on a nightly basis. Now it's so few and far between. To think the year we went to the finals in 2012, we had Boulton and Janssen in the lineup on a consistent enough basis throughout the regular season. It was around that time though in the league, when we had a 4th line that could actually play a bit (CBGB), that the goons were starting to be weeded out in favor of 4 lines that could contribute offensively instead of 3-3.5 lines. You used to be able to go to any hockey game and essentially be guaranteed for at least 1 fight just as short as 5 years ago. Crazy how quickly it has died off.

I have never heard of Hockey Services before. Not sure what they do.

However someone on a jersey forum called a Philly Skate Zone last month and they told him they had no problems sending out a Devils jersey to PX.

Alright cool! Saves me from having to mail my jersey to Michigan just so it can be sent to Philly haha. Did this person happen to mention which Skate Zone they contacted?

Its a Trap

Yes I’m still here to piss you off

Those guys were in the lineup specifically because we didn't have a 4th line. The 4th line was a mess until Gionta got called up oddly enough.
So, if you want to wear a Butcher jersey but won't buy an Adidas, what do you do?
Get a blank Reebok and put him on it.

I think I'm getting Bratt on a Reebok blank. I have no qualms about "jersey fouling".

He didn't say, but I think it was the one in Voorhees.

Do you mean just thin?

Cause I gave em the pinch test at the arena the other night and they certainly felt like a super light material, I was thinking it was maybe not the authentic, except the $225 price tag said to me they better be the authentic.

Could it be just a light weight breathability thing?

Or were you noticing cheap stitching as well?
