Eh a lot of our 'talent' is on the shelf right now...Jack, Dougie, Timo, Palat. And Vancouver's an actual good team, not one of the cream of the crap teams we've underachieved against.

When the Devils ice less talented lineups than normal it often really highlights how the system begs for players to make great individual plays to have successful breakouts.

Vancouver is good but the Devils constantly attack defensively from bad angles and have no options if they recover the puck in the defensive zone.

This is an ongoing theme from the season.

We've had some bad periods, but this is definitely up there.

Maybe it won't last the entire game? We've certainly had bad firsts, so maybe this isn't the worst. Let's see how it looks next period.
