This team is not good enough to think they can just flip a switch in the playoffs. Same shit all season long other than the first two months.

I understand the idea of not going all in with a spot locked up. But man… going inti the playoffs playing like this can’t be good.
I get tired of saying this but I’d be giving a lot freer pass on these last four games if they hadn’t already sucked for a large portion of the season before that…this team doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt

It’s also one thing to tamp down the effort, another to just do brainless shit like Pesce’s penalty the other day or Cotter and Timo today.

I really hate that we have Dillon for 2 more years and Dumo for no more.

Hated the trade for what we gave up, now I'm gonna hate it even more for the tease of having a way better guy than Dillon for the bottom pairing next year, who will probably make even less than Dillon.

The funny thing about thinking this is them just not going 100% because they have the playoff spot locked up…it’s completely indistinguishable from what we’ve seen for the last 50 games.

Should be playing hard every game..If it's to rest sub in other players and sit guys....Like I said hopefully they can flip a switch because Canes play a high energy game and they just thrashed the Rangers....
Even we thrashed the Rangers three times though, can’t go by that

Fitz really needs to recognize this isn't all Jack and Dougie being out, and that this team has serious problems with scoring.

They're not anywhere near a contender with this team.

I'd love to dump Palat and Haula, Palat more than Haula.

He's clearly getting worse every year, he'll be 35 before next regular season ends. Not even one stinkin 40 point season here.

They HAVE to dump some of this deadweight in the offseason, more than just get new bottom sixers.

Not the division games where they had to win the last month. Thats where they gave it their all. This team isn’t good enough to do what the 22-23 team did. They require 100% focus and commitment. They aren’t doing that in this stretch. They will have to bring that starting next weekend and they will. Because it’s a massive task for them vs the Canes

They're going all Zapruder film on this hit

Yeah this is how I feel too. I'd like to have some momentum going into the playoffs.
Honestly feels like if we lose today we might lose out this regular season.

I don't think we've lost 5 in a row in regulation this year.

We had an 0-2-2 stretch in October, 0-4-0 stretch from late December into January, Another 0-2-2 stretch in January and some 0-3-0 stretches.

according to some in here it doesn't matter and we will come out like a Superteam when the playoffs start 🤞
