Yes it does matter. He's restricted on the wing. As center he makes the whole line better. And Chucky being a top line center is a key criteria is us being a legit cup contender. So yes, it matters.

Galchenyuk has the potential of being our next great centre. I want to explore that option - centres with his potential are next to impossible to land from the outside - and we've been missing this centre for a long, long, long time.

If it doesn't work out, fine, but it must be explored.

It does matter. We need a #1 center. Galchenyuk is our best chance at that and has the potential to do it, but the longer they wait, the longer it'll take for him to develop in that role.
