Agreed. The result shouldn't be the determining factor.

It isn't officially but I suspect it plays into the length handed out. They cite history and ability to avoid the offense when handing out the suspensions. Since this was avoidable but there's no history AND no injury, I suspect 1 game max if anything or just the max fine.

Plus, the fact that Miles has no prior history of hits like this, may just result in a 1-gamer(at worst) but more likely a fine and a warning.

I really would love to make the playoffs but I think we're a ways away from being competitive there. Will be great for our young guys to get some experience. And would be great for Hall to finally get that first playoff game monkey off his back.
