I wouldn’t hate to see Jeremy Colliton get another shot, if they’re hell bent on retreads. Felt like he didn’t really get a fair look with the Blackhawks pivoting to full tank mode out from under him.
Looks like Mike Sullivan and Pens parted ways. He is one of the SC cup winning coaches I want to stay away from. Winning with prime Crosy, Malkin and a healthier and younger Letang is not nothing, especially since he went back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. However, since then he has made it past the 1st round only once, in 2018, where he lost in the 2nd round.
I would like to have a coach who is more experienced working with less talent and younger players.

Sullivan is basically Drury's dream coach. I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up with the Rangers.
Based on reading the Rangers would likely want Sullivan and Philly would want Tocchet. Maybe it happens.
Tocchet's departure just strikes me as weird. The timing is just strange to me.
Yeah.
The wole situation was weird.
Vancouver would like to keep him, has a contract option but doesn't use it.
And the Kraken fire Bylsma immediatly.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tocchet will be presented as the new Kraken head coach within a short amount of time.
Ya’ll are crazy lmaoYeah.

Tocchet would be a weird choice. He's a systems coach that's not good with kids, not very adaptable and his system is not speed based or creative. Basically he is the antithesis of what Botterill said his vision of Kraken hockey is.
Ya’ll are crazy lmao
What about any of that scenario leads you to believe he’s a lock for Seattle? QAnon level conspiracy bunkum.
Well, if Botterll is really looking for a coach that includes the youngsterns I'm not sure why you fire Bylsma after one season given his track record in CV.
Overall I agree, Tocchet would be a weird choice and one I'm not all that interest in.
Though, he would be the opposite of what Hakstol and Bylsma presented as he's not really a player's coach and more of a hard a$$ on guys.
His ties to the Seattle organization and especially Francis and Botterill.
Just weird to me that he doesn't resign in Vancouver and the Kraken fire their coach.
But yeah, could also mean noting.
BTW: It seems like Jay Leach, Jeff Halpern and Jeff Blashil are drawing interest.

Jeff Blashill, Jeff Halpern, Jay Leach Drawing Interest For Head Coach Vacancies
Former Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill is among the names under consideration for the league's head coach openings. Read more at PHR.www.prohockeyrumors.com
I don't think Leach would be brought in after the Kraken choose Bylsma over him last year.
I've got no interest in Blashill but Halpern would be interesting having spend a long time as Coopers assistant in Tamp Bay.
Overall I think an assistant from a successful franchise might be the way to go.
That's my bet, too.Overall I think an assistant from a successful franchise might be the way to go.
That's kinda what I'm saying though. We keep attributing "played with Francis for a bit" as some silver bullet. Some of these guys have considerably stronger ties to other organizations than Seattle. To say "I bet they announce him soon" is kinda wild. His ties to the Seattle organization and especially Francis and Botterill.
