New Brewery / Place to watch Kings Games in O.C. (Huntington Beach)

Just putting the finishing touches on the decor. We open in 2 days..hope to see some of you there.

Did anyone go this weekend?


It was my weekend to pick up trash on the freeway so I was a little pre-occupied. I am going to try to go later this week or maybe this weekend

We had quite a few people who mentioned reading about us on HF. We've had people with Kings attire come in every day so far, so it's been great. Can't wait for the season to start and start having the games on. We're still ironing out the details, but we will be doing ticket giveaways for games. Something along the lines of wearing your Kings gear during a game and get a raffle ticket to win tix.

There goes my plans of going to the game watches naked....

I'll be a good sport and wear a beanie or something
 
We'll be having watch parties and specials for the two televised preseason games, details to follow. In the mean time, I have 4 PR tix and parking for Monday's game. If anyone wants them let me know, have to be able to come to HB to pick them up.
 
We will be having a watch party for Thursday's game vs the Ducks. We will be offering 20% off your bill if you come in your Kings gear. Hope to see some of you here!
 
Hope we see some of you out tonight to watch the game. Our Great One IIPA has been sold out for the last week, and will be coming back tomorrow. However, since it is a Kings themed beer, I am pulling a keg of it early to tap tonight for the game. We will also be participating in a friendly wager with the other brewery in town, the loser of the game tonight has to do the 'mash out' for the other brewery..which involves pulling out 1,000lbs of grain manually...so go Kings

It mainly came about as we posted about the Kings watch party on our social media, which in turn led to Ducks fans complaining we're in OC and should be a Ducks bar. The other brewery chimed in and has now turned tonight into a Ducks watch party at their place, so it's a friendly competition.
 
Are you ever planning on selling food? I want a place to watch the games because I just gave up cable, but I don't drink :-P.

We have food trucks out Fri-Sun. Otherwise people can bring their own or order from a bunch of places that deliver. A local pizza place is offering 10% off all orders delivered to us tonight. And we do make a non-alcoholic root beer :yo:

Homebrewed root beer is the best! I swear that is the only thing I can drink at BJs because their beers suck

I need to try that root beer
