I'll go on the record as saying Carolina has had the best, most fitting, kick-ass entrance song in the modern era

Stars have something semi-cool, rad and all but not great because it's limited

Oilers stole an overused but awesome song in Enter Sandman. But again overused and not unique to them.

Pens had/have (?) sweet-ass Seek and Destroy - but let's face it Penguins doesn't Google much for Choices so bravo at being pragmatic

As for us . . . We're the greatest team and franchise of all time. What's it going to be? What's hard, descriptive of our team but not over-the top? Screw hells bells with its geriatric speed

Some ideas

Hanna Alberta's Burn it to the Ground (I hope the Flames connection isn't missed)

- Fight fire with Fire (metallica)

- has nice slow intro that easily enables arena staff to get the Flames roster to the walkout without blowing the moment. Then it goes nuts. Has the Fire (Flames) connection.

- Symphony of destruction (Megadeth). Similar short little intro, then killer rif. Not super lyrically connected to the Flames name but badass nonetheless.

- Something older school and Canadiana like "I Like to Rock" April Wine? Slow little intro, hype the crowd then rocking rifs and attitude . . . And the epic lyrics "journey to the stars, rock"n roll.guitars":

Ricky says Canadian Helix Rock You not Rush (and not the offciial video [in the spoiler] cuz nudes I think):

Seriously we need a long-standing song that represents our team. The Canes with Rock You Like a Hurricane is the bar in my opinion.

And with AI, I want revised lyrics, with the song sung in Peter Maher's voice for a "Yeah! Baby's on Fire" version. :sarcasm:

This is a hill I would die on, there is little in the world I hate more than Nickelback.

Congrats, you managed to find something that might be worse than Nickelback
