I just finished "The Spy". Not a great show, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will recommend it to my friends.
I wish they had made it longer though. It is only 6 episodes so they never really go into much depth around the different characters - with somewhat of an exception of the main character. It also suffers from making it a fairly black and white story about good vs. evil. Kind of fine considering it is based on a real life story and from his perspective it was probably how it felt, but I wish they have had time to show a bit more nuance. I have read books about and by Mossad agents and it wasn't that black and white as you might think watching this series.
It is well made. And I learned about a story I didn't know about. 20 years from now I'll probably still remember that story - so it is quite powerful. Well worth a watch if you like a bit of history, politics, "spy stuff" and got 5 hours to spare (or something like that).
