His value was probably lower about 1-2 months ago, before he started producing in the AHL.

But there's really no knowing if it will go up or down from here. This may be as high as his value gets moving forward.

I think Seattle and NJ would both be happy with that deal, and as a Seattle fan I would take it and probably even add. Ya'll want a Mahura or a Tanev?

The first one is an interesting option, the others... not so much.

The first one is the worst one, trust me. Hayton is a 3C who only looks good with Keller and will drop off the map every once in a while, Schmaltz is soft as hell and a perimeter player who will heavily disappoint some fans and when he's off he's useless.

I'm not against Colton, but I'm against trading him for Mercer. Just trade him for a 2nd round pick if the Avalanche wants to make room for additions in the off-season, or something like that.

Also why Bednar doesn't give him more ice time if he is so good? I mean, the team has had big problems to get any kind of production from other players than their big guns. So maybe there is a reason why Mercer has gotten more ice time than Colton.

I think Mercer has been underwhelming, but I also think it would be foolish to trade him for someone like Colton, who is older and arguably not better.

I am a really big fan of Nemec still. I've always liked him. I'd move any piece from our roster except Wolf for him. I don't think we have anything worth both Nemec and Mercer though.

Man would I love to get Nemec. Could make up for one of the mistakes we made trading Bennett for next to nothing.

I'd do Andersson. The value there is in the cap hit. He's probably our most valuable roster piece. Backlund is what NJ needs, but he'd need to be 8 years younger to have close to Nemec value.
