So random. Jersey City still smells like a dump though.
Well I think they have more wins this tournament as a 15 seed then 15 seeds have had throughout history before this year.I feel like the difference between an 11/12 and a 15 making this run is being undersold. 15s are actual cannon fodder. You get some pretty damn good 11s and 12s occasionally.
Villanova is a Philadelphia school. All Big 5 schools are Philadlephia schools. I will tolerate no dissent on this.
It’s mocking Villanova.

They’re not but ok.Villanova is a Philadelphia school. All Big 5 schools are Philadlephia schools. I will tolerate no dissent on this.
Hmm. I’ll see if I can find where I saw that statement and see if I can get clarification.Nah, you've gotten a few. Lehigh vs Duke in McCollum's Junior year. Oral Roberts last year. Florida Gulf Coast vs Georgetown. Jamal Tinsley's Iowa St team losing to Hampton.
Maybe it's more wins beyond the 1st round? I think that might be true?
They’re not but ok.
Any school that actively goes out of their way to prevent another ACTUAL city school from joining another conference deserves no protection.
POS school is POS.
Because people are stupid and this city will latch onto anything so that they can pretend they’re not losers. Then why did they call "The Philadelphia Story", "The Philadelphia Story" and not, "The Not Philadelphia Story"?
Irrelevant. Villanova (the town) is a suburb of Philadelphia therefore Villanova (the school) is a Philadelphia school.Because people are stupid and this city will latch onto anything so that they can pretend they’re not losers.
Villanova does not care about the city of Philadelphia and the other schools in the actual city. They care about themselves and have shown that time and time again.
Ah, a suburb of Philadelphia which means it’s not actually in Philadelphia and thus not a Philadelphia school.Irrelevant. Villanova (the town) is a suburb of Philadelphia therefore Villanova (the school) is a Philadelphia school.
So the Philadelphia Union (who play their home games in Chester) are not a Philadelphia team?Ah, a suburb of Philadelphia which means it’s not actually in Philadelphia and thus not a Philadelphia school.
In this situation, no.So the Philadelphia Union (who play their home games in Chester) are not a Philadelphia team?
Meh, I assume you're referring to Villanova blocking Temple from the Big East like 10 years ago? At the time, Villanova had pretty good football team that was more or less shut out from making the jump to FBS (in the Big East) because of facilities concerns. They were acting in self-interest, yes, but Villanova was rightfully so a little pissy with the Big East, and they weren't about to just willingly give up their conference advantage to another city school. They’re not but ok.

I never heard of it.In this situation, no.
Is Rowan a Philadelphia school?
Most of my disdain comes from the name of the Big Five itself due to the college that I attended. While they’re not known for their athletics they’re the most in the city school that exists and yet a school that isn’t even in the city proper is included.
Do I lie awake at night thinking about this? No.
Drexel?Ok, that's understandable. What school are you talking about? More "in the city" than Penn or Temple or LaSalle?
